This week has seen Technical Training Manager Chris Brown conduct several training courses including 132kV
Our trainees were working on an EHVS Shield Break Joint and training included:
Insulation screen removal
Installation of a mechanical connector, cable adaptor & conductive tape
Installation of insulating mastic profile
Installation of the fibre reinforced wraparound protection sleeve
Accredited training was carried out at our dedicated facility in the Midlands by Jointing Tech’s very own Technical Manager Chris Brown, who has more than 45 years’ experience in the cabling industry and offers bespoke training courses to qualified candidates
