Resin joints for LV armoured power cables
3M Scotchcast resin joints are designed for use with multi-pair/cored and armoured Pilot and Telecom cables.
Featuring a unique hinged mould body and totally enclosed resin mixing system which significantly reduces the chances of spillage, skin contact and vapour inhalation.
Designed to connect LV power cables inline by encapsulating in a resin filled shell
- Excellent mechanical protection
- Clear rigid joint shells to aid correct installation
- Large shell design allows the use of mechanical connectors
- Can be used at 3.3kV with the use of mastic patches
- Available with NEW REACH compliant HDI resin on request
- Kit comprises mould shell, 2 part polyurethane MDI resin, earth continuity kit and PVC tapes
