As we prepare to close for the Christmas break, our Technical Training Manager Chris Brown has yet to don his Santa hat as he’s too busy training and certifying successful delegates.
It means here at Jointing Tech we’ve seen lots of varied training courses over the past two weeks including both Medium & High Voltage Accessories, ranging from Medium voltage 11kV Single Core polymeric heat shrink straight joints and resin filled triplex straight joints. Medium voltage 12kV RSTI separable connections along with High Voltage 72kV Single Core Polymeric straight joints.
Specifically within those courses there have been a significant number of technical modules that included:
Installation of 3 core BS6622 RSTI breakout module core sleeves.
Installation of RSTI-TRF cable breakout.
Application of conductive paint.
EHVS 66kV: Installation of the WCSM outer sealing sleeve
MDPE cable oversheath preparation prior to flame brushing.
MXSU 3131: Joint awaiting installation of the outer sealing WCSM sleeve.
