Andy Knapman Completes First London Marathon Raising Thousands for Guide Dogs for the Blind

JT News | 26th April, 2023

Our very own Andy Knapman smashed his first and only marathon with an amazing time of 3 hours 54 minutes and 29 seconds giving an average of 8:46 for the entire race….

As well as that incredible time, Andy also smashed his charity fund raising target with £2999 of a £2000 target raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind

Having spent months running in rain, snow and finally a bit of sunshine, Andy was able to tick this off his bucket list whilst also raising money for such a deserving charity.

Every day, 250 more people join the 2 million already living with sight loss. This number is set to double by 2050, which is why the dedication from Guide Dogs for the Blind is more important than ever before and this challenge will only help them continue to support the millions of people who need help.

Biggest challenge?  Not sneaking one of the dogs home with him at the post-race reception.

Well done Knappers, your #TeamJT family are proud of you
