Technical Training Manager, Chris Brown, has a series of specialist training courses booked already this year and is busy ensuring candidates have the required industry knowledge and achieve the high accreditation standards set by market leaders Jointing Tech.
His latest bespoke course focused on 33kV Resin Filled Trifurcating (Heat Shrink) Joints. The training included modules such as:
Steel wire armour connection down onto lead sheath via mastics & tinned copper mesh.
Installation of the conductive breakout on 3 core paper cable.
Armour sealing sleeve & lead sheath mastic moisture seal.
Resin encapsulation shell fitting.
