Technical Training Manager, Chris Brown, has delivered training this time focused on a DNO’s 11kV Triplex Resin Filled Straight Joint.
The comprehensive course included aspects such as:
- Clearance check in encapsulation shell prior to filling
- Standoff position & moisture seal
- MDPE, cable oversheath preparation, degreasing, abrasion & flame brushing
Each course is individually created and follows the DNO’s installation procedures.
Chris has been in the electrical cabling industry for over 45 years and is familiar with leading cable and accessory suppliers in the UK and Europe.
