Training Manager, Chris Brown delivered a comprehensive TE accredited High Voltage (HV) course this week to a group of experienced installers.
Jointing Tech is the only UK company to have a dedicated 145kV TE/Raychem in house certified instructor and are able to design and deliver a range of tailored and accredited training courses. This latest course focused on the Single Core 132kv Three Piece Shield Break Joint, and installation steps included the following:
- Greasing main body of joint.
- Cable adaptor installation.
- Connector & cable adaptors.
- Sealing sleeve installation.
- Installation of the fibre reinforced protective wraparound.
- BOCL sealing clip.
