Technical Training Manager, Chris Brown, recently completed a bespoke accredited MV course using the single core polymeric cold applied straight joint with outer heat shrink sealing sleeve.
Modules of the course included:
Cleaning the insulation & connector.
Positioning of the joint body.
Copper wire screen connection with mastic sealing/protection.
Application of the tinned copper mesh.
Degrease, abrasion & flame brushing of cable oversheaths.
Installation of the outer sealing sleeve.
