Sussex Cricket regrets to announce that Frank Horan passed away recently and we pass on condolences to his widow Cynthia and family
Frank Horan was a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon who was Medical Director at Princess Royal Hospital at Haywards Heath from 1992 until he retired in 1995. Frank acted as orthopaedic surgeon for players at both Sussex and Lord's. He was on the Sussex CCC committee from 1985 to 1997 and was thereafter involved with the MCC where he was made a Honorary Life Member in 2007.
The funeral and celebration of Frank's life will take place at 12.30pm on Tuesday 24th November 2015 at St Anne's Church, Western Road, Lewes, BN7 1RJ. All are welcome and everyone is invited to join the family afterwards at The Shelleys Hotel, 135-136 High Street, Lewes BN7 1XS. The family have asked for no flowers but said that donations would be welcome to Different Strokes, a charity for younger stroke survivors.
