Designed to facilitate the easy connection and disconnection of single core copper wire screened XLPE cables to medium voltage equipment like switchgear and transformers
- Manufactured from crosslinked EPDM and protected with a minimum 3mm moulded conductive shield connected to earth
- These dead break adaptors are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications
- Their wide application range to cover several different cable cross sections without the need for additional cable adaptors
- Available in straight and elbow configuration
- Supplied with high strength bimetallic compression connectors to connect copper and aluminium conductors
- The screened cable connector exceeds CENELEC HD 629.1 S1 requirements which includes BS,VDE and other international specifications
